  • Your Wedding Party Numbers: A larger wedding party means more personal flowers (corsages, bouquets, boutonnieres) to include in your design.

  • Your Guest & Table Counts: More tables mean more centerpieces, candlelight, and curated settings.

  • Must-Have Blooms: Seasonality, color palettes, and flower selections play a huge role in how much each bloom in your arrangement will cost. All blooms are costly, but some blooms are downright EXPENSIVE!

  • The "Wow" Installations: Custom flower walls, elevated backdrops, and opulent ceremony structures require extensive labor and structural engineering.

  • The Production & Artistry: Custom proposals, regular check-ins, hours of hand-crafted work, and seamless setup and strike by a seasoned team.

Your Budget Unpacked

Let’s Bring Your Dream Day to Life

💡 Planning Tip: If flowers are in your top three wedding priorities, we recommend allocating a higher percentage of your overall event budget to floral and event design to achieve those jaw-dropping, social media-worthy moments.

Attrition

Standard attrition for weddings is between 15-20%, so when calculating the number of tables you think you might need, take your total invited guest count and multiply it by .17, then subtract that number from your total invited guest count to get your estimated guest count.

Example: 225 x.17 = ~38 | 225- 38 = 187 guests

Round Tables

The following are common table sizes for round guest tables and the number of people we recommend placing at each table size.

  • 72-in round: ~ 10 guests

  • 60-in round: ~ 8 guests

  • 48- in round: ~ 4-6 guests

Long Tables

If you plan to use long tables, farmhouse tables or serpentine tables, allocate 2-feet of space per each person.

If you plan to have guests seated on both sides of the table then the following would apply:

  • 8-foot table ~ 8 guests (four on each side)

  • 16-foot table ~16 guests (eight on each side)

Adding people on the ends of your long tables can increase the number of guests seated, but make sure the table is wide enough to accommodate this, and be sure to confirm with your venue to ensure your catering team has adequate space to move throughout the space.

Calculating the number of tables you need

A general rule is allocating 2-feet of space per person.

  • 72-in round: ~ 10 guests

  • 60-in round: ~ 8 guests

  • 48- in round: ~ 4-6 guests

Divide your estimated guest count by the number of guests per table.

The calculator above does a pretty good job of showing you how the scale of your event- wedding party numbers, guest tables, etc- can impact the financial investment you might look to spend on your wedding flowers. However, much more difficult to capture is the cost of the individual blooms, the complexity of a design and the labor associated with your wedding. If you still have questions or a specific question we would love to talk with you!
