10 Bouquets to Inspire the Modern Romantic Bride

Wedding flowers are one of the most personal choices you’ll make as you plan your wedding, and there is no more personal arrangement than your bouquet! Last month we featured 10 Round Bouquets to inspire the Classic Bride, and today we’re featuring a twist on that traditional style! Many of our clients have a wedding aesthetic that I consider “Modern Romantic”; they have an appreciation for classic, timeless style, but also want to incorporate some modern design elements into their wedding. Most frequently this is the inclusion of greenery, which is so popular in wedding floral design at the moment. And who can blame them?! Greenery offers an added layer of texture, and a natural element to any venue.

When it comes to their bridal bouquet, many of our clients request designs that are a cross between classic round and natural styles; they want to include greenery, but prefer a more structured look. Depending on the client and the overall style of the wedding, bridal bouquets in this “rounded with greenery” style may have just a touch of foliage added to an otherwise traditional bouquet, or closer to a 50/50 mix of blooms and greens. This style of bridal bouquet works well with almost any combination of flowers and colors, from neutral ivory to bold fall tones. Depending on the bride’s vision, we can compliment her bouquet with natural, greenery-heavy bridesmaid bouquets, more structured bouquets with greenery accents, or classic bouquets with no greenery at all.

I’ve selected 10 beautiful bouquets carried by Belli Fiori Brides to inspire anyone considering incorporating greenery into their bouquet…

Jenna’s bouquet incorporated touches of Gunni Eucalyptus throughout her otherwise classic bouquet. Her maid of honor’s bouquet was a bit more textural, but still floral-heavy.
