DESIGN WITH US!

Join the Creative Flow: Floral Designer

Belli Fiori and The Flower Lab are looking for a vibrant, high-energy individual to join our award-winning design team. We don’t just "make bouquets"—we transform massive spaces into floral dreams. If you have a passion for floral design, a thick skin, and the stamina to keep up with a fast-paced luxury event environment, we want to meet you.

Our Environment: Hard-Working, Sassy, and Precision-Driven

Working at Belli Fiori means balancing high-end professionalism with a "tell-it-like-it-is" attitude. Our team is fun, hardworking, and occasionally intense—but only because we settle for nothing less than perfection. In this role, you will work closely with our Lead Designer to execute all pieces of the wedding design from personal flowers to assisting with large-scale designs. Much of our work is production-style, meaning you must have the discipline and technical skill to replicate a "master" design with 100% accuracy across dozens of the same arrangements. You will also have some responsibility to convert design recipes into physical designs.

SNAPSHOT

Experience: Minimum three years of floral design

Pay: Starting at $20 per hour (commensurate with experience)

Your Role in the Studio

Floral Processing & Production Design

  • Precision Execution: Replicate Lead Designer specifications and "recipes" to ensure every arrangement is consistent and visually stunning.

  • Technical Mechanics: Build the structural foundations (mechanics) for large installations

  • Floral Handling: Retrieve and process incoming floral shipments with speed and care. Report missing product and store according to product guidelines.

Event Logistics & Leadership

  • On-Site Leadership: Lead event setups and strikes (tear-downs), ensuring the final look matches the Belli Fiori standard.

  • Prep & Load: Organize hard goods, tools, and materials; expertly pack and load vehicles for safe transport of delicate installs.

  • Digital Content: Assist in capturing high-quality photos and videos of the setup process for our portfolio and social media.

Studio Excellence & Maintenance

  • Showroom Standards: Maintain a pristine, client-facing showroom, rental display shelves, and restroom.

  • The "Engine Room": Keep the design studio, coolers, and hard goods storage organized and clean.

  • Collaborative Support: Assist the production team with cleaning, prepping, and restocking inventory for events.

What You Bring to the Table

Pro Tip: We value dedication and an understanding of the cyclical nature of event work. Event design and daily work are very different. In event work, the “daily designs” are decided by a more senior designer and are redundant with some creations that are unique and novel (think structures and onsite installations). There are also periods of high-intensity and “off” seasons in which the work slows and we create side projects that typically fall outside of what you might consider design work. This flexibility allows us to offer consistent, year-round employment.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of three years of floral design is required.

  • Training in floral design or related discipline such as visual arts required.

  • Some experience either working events or designing for events is required.

  • Physical Stamina: Ability to lift 30+ pounds and stay on your feet for long production shifts.

  • The "Eye": A sophisticated understanding of color, texture, and scale.

  • Availability: Must be willing to work at least two weekends per month during peak seasons (April, May, June & September, October, November)

The "Vibe" Check:

  • Coachability: You must be open to direct critique and able to pivot quickly based on direction.

  • Pressure-Ready: You thrive when deadlines are tight and the studio is buzzing, but you also know when to appreciate a break.

  • Attitude: A team-first mentality and can hold your own with a sassy, fast-talking crew.
