DESIGN WITH US!
Join the Creative Flow: Floral Design Assistant
Belli Fiori and The Flower Lab are looking for a vibrant, high-energy individual to join our award-winning design team. We don’t just "make bouquets"—we transform massive spaces into floral dreams. If you have a passion for visual arts, a thick skin, and the stamina to keep up with a fast-paced luxury event environment, we want to meet you.
Our Environment: Hard-Working, Sassy, and Precision-Driven
Working at Belli Fiori means balancing high-end professionalism with a "tell-it-like-it-is" attitude. Our team is fun, hardworking, and occasionally intense—but only because we settle for nothing less than perfection.
In this role, you will learn a variety of design styles, build your technical skills and learn the ins-and-outs of wedding design. Your primary job will be to replicate the design crafted by our Creative Director or Lead Designer with precision and speed until dozens of arrangements are prepared for the onsite installation. It is rhythmic, challenging, and incredibly rewarding to see the final scale of your hard work.
Your Role in the Studio
Floral Processing & High-Volume Design
Precision Replication: Execute floral designs that meet the Lead Designer’s exact specifications and "recipes."
Master the Mechanics: Prepare containers, structural mechanics, and professional packaging for large-scale installations.
Product Care: Process incoming floral shipments with speed and care to ensure maximum freshness.
Event Logistics & Execution
The Build-Up: Gather and organize hard goods, tools, and materials for major event installs.
The Load-In: Safely pack and load luxury floral products into vehicles for transport.
On-Site Magic: Assist with on-site event setups and late-night strikes (tear-downs).
Studio Maintenance
Keep our client-facing showroom, rentals, and restrooms looking like a luxury boutique.
Maintain a clean, efficient design studio, including coolers and storage areas.
What You Bring to the Table
Pro Tip: We value artistic eyes and capable hands. Whether your background is in sculpture, painting, merchandising, interior design or something else entirely, we want to see how your visual skills translate to floral design.
Requirements:
Demonstrated skills in the visual arts (painting, sculpture, fashion design, seamstress, drawing, etc.).
Physical Stamina: Ability to lift 30+ pounds and stay on your feet for long production shifts.
Availability: Must be willing to work at least two weekends per month during peak seasons (April, May, June & September, October, November)
The "Vibe" Check:
Coachability: You must be open to direct critique and able to pivot quickly based on direction.
Pressure-Ready: You thrive when the clock is ticking and the coolers are full.
Attitude: You bring a positive, team-first mentality and can hold your own with a sassy, fast-talking creative crew.
