Join the Manic Maintenance: Production Lead
Belli Fiori and The Flower Lab are looking for a high-energy Production Lead who lives for the details. This isn't just a "behind-the-scenes" role; you are the engine that keeps our large-scale productions moving. You will own the lifecycle of our inventory—from prep and packing to leading onsite teams through setup and strike.
Our Environment: Hard-Working, Sassy, and Precision-Driven
Our team is a powerhouse of intelligence and hard work. We are creative, fast-paced, and—honestly—a little bit sassy. We have high standards and a "get it done" attitude that can be intense at times, but we have a lot of fun along the way. If you have thick skin, a sharp wit, and a drive for excellence, you’ll fit right in.
This role requires a unique blend of logistical mastery and leadership. You must be comfortable managing inventories and pre-event preparation while commanding a room (or a ballroom) full of weekend crew.

Your Role in the Studio
Event Preparation and Logistics
Production Lead re-checking inventory before a big event
Inventory Command: Order, organize, and store rental inventory. You’ll be responsible for counting, inspecting for damage, and initiating repairs to ensure every piece is "Belli-standard."
The Blueprint: Create comprehensive checklists and pull sheets using Details (internal event management software) and Microsoft Excel. Edit venue floorplans to ensure every centerpiece and installation is perfectly placed. Print all materials for team use.
Pack, Label & Load: Label and pack carts with surgical precision. Ensure all hard goods, tools, and paperwork are loaded and ready for transport.
Onsite Leadership
Field Guide: Lead the onsite team during event setup and strike. You (in collaboration with the Owner and Operations Manager) are the point person for problem-solving when the unexpected happens.
Time Management: Manage the onsite timeline actively to ensure all design features are completed within the allotted time.
Training: Mentor and train weekend crew members on Belli Fiori’s specific standards of excellence.
Studio & Team Management
Directing Workflow: With input from the Owner, schedule production assistants and create their weekly "to-do" lists.
Studio Standards: Prepare the showroom for high-end client meetings and initiate activities to ensure the studio is clean, organized, and safe.
Collaborative Support: Assist the design team with flower processing, shipment pickups, and general studio needs.
What You Bring to the Table
Pro Tip: A fluid role, The Production Lead works alongside all departments to guarantee each event's success. The right individual for this job is not easily overwhelmed and enjoys a balance of physical labor and administrative tasks.
Requirements:
Natural Leader: Proven ability to manage things, lead people and delegate tasks.
Hyper-Organized: You are someone who finds peace in a well-organized spreadsheet and a labeled storage bin.
Tech Savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Workspace. Knowledge of Canva is a major plus.
Physically Capable: This is a demanding role. You must be able to lift 30+ lbs, climb ladders, and stay on your feet for long shifts.
Availability: Must have open weekend availability.
Note: Due to the nature of the event industry, no vacation time may be taken during our peak months (April, May, June, September, October and November).
Experience: Backgrounds in Technical Production, Event Management, Retail, Catering, or Shipping/Receiving are highly preferred.
The "Vibe" Check:
Coachability: You must be open to direct critique and able to pivot quickly based on direction.
Pressure-Ready: You thrive when the clock is ticking and the coolers are full.
Attitude: You bring a positive, team-first mentality and can hold your own with a sassy, fast-talking crew.
