A Rock N’ Roll kind of Wedding

Ashley and Devon went “through a lot in the beginning” of their relationship, according to an article published in People Magazine. While touring in Europe, Devon had a serious health crisis, and Ashley was by his side through it all.

Devon recalls,

"I was in Germany on tour, and I had to have a massive surgery where I had a 50/50 chance of living… [Ashley] flew over there, and that just proved a lot about her character.”

While Ashley and Devon may have faced many challenges early in their relationship, it was through these hardships that this beautiful couple found an abundance of love and respect for one another.

“Ashley is so selfless. She really gives of herself with her job and all her friends. Everyone will tell you that she always puts everyone first. She's a giver to the core. Everyone who has Ash in their lives is better for it."

Devon raved!

"He's the biggest softie in the world… That's my favorite thing about him. He's this rock and roller, but really, he is this big teddy bear."

Ashley shared about Devon!

For their wedding, this adorable couple said, “I do” at Westwind Hills!

According to Devon, they wanted “to make [their] guests really feel like they were getting out of town for the day and the evening.”

“It was gorgeous. Ash really knocked it out of the park with every aspect of it, from the layout to the flower arrangements to the band."

For her decor, Ashley wanted “a chic and lean design.” She was captivated by the look of Calla Lilies and Phalaenopsis Orchids, with their long lines and elegant appearance.

She chose a black and white palette with stone-colored linens and matte-black place settings.

However,“music [was] the ultimate centerpiece of the day,” according to People Magazine.

In classic rock n’roll style, the evening was full of musical talent, including performances by Devon himself as well as several of his friends, including Alex Orbison (son of Roy Orbison), Duane Betts (son of Dickey Betts of The Allman Brothers Band), JD Simo (Singer-songwriter) and Devon’s sons, Jimmy Hall and Orion Gregory Allman.

Singer/songwriter, Maggie Rose even gave a special performance.

The festivities concluded with a final musical performance in celebration of the iconic date of the couple’s nuptials, Cinco de Mayo. Ashley surprised her husband and guest with a Mariachi Band and Taco Truck in honor of the Mexican-inspired celebration!

The night was an homage to true love and music.
