If you’re searching for inspiration for a glamorous, dramatic event, look no further than this wedding set in St. Louis’ own Fabulous Fox Theatre! Allyson and Matt’s ceremony and reception featured a modern, airy look using a neutral color palette. While the results were incredible, designing in such a grand space presented its own unique challenges for our Belli Fiori designers!

This Belli Fiori Bride chose a classic neutral color scheme for the big day, featuring whites, champagnes, and touches of gold. While many of our events call for identical bridesmaids’ bouquets, for this wedding we designed three different monobotanical bouquets. With each bridesmaid wearing a different (and fabulous!) dress, having a variety of bouquet styles highlighted each individual’s personality.

The showstopper, however, was Allyson’s bridal bouquet, which featured a showy cascade of snow-white orchids. We loved creating this modern design, and the results were breathtaking.

The couple’s ceremony on the grand staircase of the Fox Theatre made for some incredible photos of the big day, but also challenged our team to get creative while designing the chuppah! It was important to Allyson that the chuppah look light and airy - nothing too heavy. However, designing on a staircase meant that adjustable legs were a necessity for this structure. With a bit of ingenuity, the team created this dreamy draped chuppah featuring orchids that appear to float in midair.

The reception, also held at the Fabulous Fox, included beautiful centerpieces with white flowers, acrylic accents, and even more orchids. Because the reception was held on the stage of the Fox (!), our Lead Designer Sandra opted for many tall centerpieces to match the scale and drama of the venue. The modern look of this event allowed our team to get creative and design some one-of-a-kind centerpieces.

Of course, if you’re having your wedding in a theatre, why not add some dramatic flair to the event? Allyson and Matt did just that with a reception reveal like no other! With guests gathered in the main theatre, the couple took to the stage while the curtain raised to unveil their gorgeous reception. On a rose dance floor, they enjoyed their first dance as a married couple.
