An Elegant Stifel Theatre Wedding in Downtown St. Louis

We are so lucky to have so many amazing wedding venues in St. Louis, and today’s feature took place in one of my favorites: the Stifel Theatre. Formerly known as the Peabody Opera House, (anybody else going to call it Peabody forever?) this is one of my all time favorite venues in St. Louis.

Jordan & Justin chose to host both their wedding ceremony and reception at Stifel last July. The feel of the day was soft and elegant, with pastel tones and romantic floral elements throughout. The ceremony took place in the first floor ticket lobby, where we designed a beautiful, asymmetrical backdrop. The soft ivory draping was accented with floral urns on one side and a floral tieback on the other – the perfect setting for the couple to say their I-dos.

Both Jordan & Justin are beaming in all the photos from the day, but I particularly love the shots Ashley captured of Jordan and her dad right before the ceremony. Their emotions are palpable through the images and you can tell how excited Jordan is as they make their way down the staircase to the ticket lobby!

Following the ceremony, guests moved upstairs to the Grand Hall for cocktails, dinner and dancing. The reception space featured a long king’s table for the bridal party, flanked by round guest tables with a mix of tall and low centerpieces. We used flowers in a mix of white and blush with accents of greenery throughout each centerpiece style for an elegant, romantic look. The room was awash in the glow of candlelight as Jordan & Justin danced the night away with their family and friends before a sparkler exit on the Stifel steps to end the night!
