2018 Color of the Year: Ultra Violet
It’s that time of year again… Pantone has announced their 2018 Color of the Year: Ultra Violet. “A dramatically provocative and thoughtful purple shade, PANTONE 18-3838 Ultra Violet communicates originality, ingenuity, and visionary thinking that points us toward the future.”
The color of royalty, wedding bloggers are already pointing out the fittingness of the purple choice as the industry buzzes with anticipation of Prince Harry & Meghan Markle’s upcoming wedding. But you don’t have to be a royal (or even marry one) to incorporate purple into your day! Much like 2017’s Greenery, the exact Ultra Violet shade might be a bit bold for many couples. If purple is your color, we recommend using Ultra Violet as a jumping off point and utilizing various shades as they fit best for your taste and day.
